The Rocks Would Cry Out.

I will give you thanks, for you answered me; you have become my salvation." -- Psalm 118:21

Last night, our small group took on the challenge to spend a week thanking and praising God.  He is so worthy of our praise, yet we so often get wrapped up in ourselves that we miss the little blessings from God every day.  So, here a few things (big and small) that I'm thankful for today:

  • Spring is here!  Officially and in reality.  It's beautiful outside today-- sunny and 70.

  • Truvia-- Emily introduced me to this most amazing calorie-free sweetener.  Simply delicious.

  • I have a job doing something I love and co-workers I genuinely enjoy being around.

  • My Heels have decided that they wanted to play basketball again.  Even though it is a bit late for this turnaround, it makes March Madness a bit better for me.

  • Certainly not last or least, I'm so thankful for my family.  My parents are amazing.

But Jesus answered, 'I tell you, if these become silent, the stones will cry out!' (Luke 19:40)  Today, I encourage you not to make the stones cry out your praise.
