What a Week.

Wow-- it's been a whole week since I've blogged.  I apologize to you all.  This week has been CRAZY busy.  I was in court every day this week but one, and what an adventure that was.  Fortunately, not very dramatic for any of my clients-- none of them went to jail.  Yet.

In related news, will never understand why someone charged with a class E felony (on a scale from A-I, with A being the most serious) thinks I can get her a probationary sentence when she has a dozen priors.  Ah, the minds of criminals.  But I love them.

What else happened this week?

  • Tim Tebow (aka-- the Love of My Life) was drafted by the Denver Broncos.  I'm a little bummed because this means I'll never get to see any of his games except the one (!) Monday Night Football game that Denver has.  But, then again he's on a team with three QBs, so who knows if he'll actually play anyway.

  • I made a new friend this week.  I love it when that happens-- especially when they're as big (in this case, bigger) of a Yankee fan as I am.  Not many people in my world know who John Sterling, Suzyn Waldman, and Michael Kay are, much less can explain why in the world they like Michael Kay better than John Sterling.  For the record, I like Suzyn Waldman-- she's one of the very few female commentators who actually know what they're talking about.

  • The highlight of my week was definitely today because I went to the Orlando Magic vs. Charlotte Bobcats NBA Playoffs game in Charlotte.  I'm a big Orlando Magic fan, so I was super excited when I found out they'd be coming near me!  Fortunately, I made it out alive after the Magic beat the Bobcats.  Although I wasn't so sure about some other Magic fans who were a bit more drunk boisterous than me.

All in all, a pretty great week I'd say!
