Same Kind of Different as Me.

Amazing.  Inspiring.  Unforgettable.

This book left me with few words but a lot to think about. A true story of a modern-day slave (Denver) from Louisiana and international art dealer (Ron) become friends after Ron is roped into volunteering at a homeless shelter by his wife.  The lessons that they teach each other, and, through this book, taught me are profound.  It's so easy to ignore and judge the homeless, and I am as guilty as anyone.  Read it and you'll never look at the homeless the same again.
