Cheer Up!


When I'm feeling down, to cheer myself up I {LOVE} to...

I'm usually pretty good about not letting myself stay down long.  But on those days when I have the persistent blues, there are a couple things that will always make me feel better.

1. Reading my Bible and prayer. This may sound cliche, but it's so true.  There's nothing like talking with the One who knows me and loves me to get my head straight.  

2. Watching hilarious television.  Two of my faves-- Psych and How I Met Your Mother.  They can always make me laugh.  



3. A change of scenery.  Sometimes you just get down being in the same places all the time.  So, I like to just get out of my office or my house and take a drive or even just go sit outside somewhere for a while.  A little fresh air and sunshine is always good.

  1. Psych!! I was just watching my season 3 DVD the other night. I may have watched every episode since season 1 about 4 million times, but it never get any less hilarious!
    Indeed reading and spending time in prayer are the best things one can do to feel better.

  2. A change of scenery does help! It's nice to go somewhere different. I also like to start something new, like a project or something along those lines that makes me feel like I have something new and exciting to look forward to. I love change, but I'm starting to realize life won't be changing as much now that I'm settled into a job, etc.

  5. Comedy is such a great way to make yourself feel better! I don't watch either of those, but have heard awesome things about both.. sounds like I'll need to check them out!
