What a Difference a Day Makes.

Six months ago today, I woke up in Dallas without any clue that it was a day that would change my world.  But it was.  I showed up to the Fort Worth Stockyards in my cowgirl hat to go to the rodeo and came face to face with one of the most amazing people I've ever met.

The next three days were a blur.  Fast Five at Studio Movie Grill, a Rangers game, and a wandering drive through Dallas to Love Field later, and I was completely smitten.

Since then, there have been a lot of airplanes, text messages, emails, late night phone calls, and cards in the mail.

The last six months have been amazing and wonderful but also somewhat of a roller coaster-- long distance is not for the faint of heart.  Some days it sucks A LOT.  But, I can say it's been absolutely worth it.

  4. *SWOON* Y'all are so adorable. And it makes me feel all mushy gushy because it reminds me of when Greg and I were long distance. You can definitely do it. I promise :)

  6. I thought for a second you were talking about the calf-roping but then I realized that doesn't explain all the pictures of me.

    Absolutely worth it. :)

  8. So many people give long distance relationships a bad rap. Yes it is incredibly hard and trying. But in the end, if you chose to work through it, it'll be absolutely worth it. & in my opinion, after doing the long distance thing, our relationship became so much stronger. & even though it was hell sometimes, I am thankful for it. 8)
