It's Okay...

Its Ok Thursdays

... to hide/unfriend people on facebook and unfollow them on twitter.  I don't want to hear constant negativity, and if that's all you post, then I'm not gonna hang around to see it.

... to not wear makeup at all to work sometimes.  Some days I'm just lazy and don't care at all about pretty-fying my face.

... to desperately want a pedicure when I'm trying not to spend money on non-essentials.

... to be considering spiking my husband's nighttime drink with tylenol pm so that he (and I) can sleep through the night without the tossing and turning like the past several nights.

... to be a little depressed when I realized this morning that it was not Friday like I had thought.

... to realize this post is kind of negative but not change it.  It is what it is.

... to have about twenty unread books in my house but to still go to the library to get ones I REALLY want to read.

... to love Thursday nights-- it's the first night of the entire week that I get to spend entirely with my boo without classes, orchestra rehearsal, bible study, tennis matches, etc...  It's our night together, and I love it.

Happy Thursday, y'all!  Friday is almost here!

  1. Wait, this isn't about the Yankees is it? You know I tease because I love...my Yankee fan friends not the team. I'm positive the love of baseball can get us through ANYTHING!!! :-)

  3. Girl, it's def OK to not wear makeup to work some days. 4 out of 5 days, I don't. ;) I'm with you on always wanting things when I shouldn't be spending money on them. Oops!

  4. I have a tosser/turner husband too! Luckily it doesn't keep me up much but I just don't get how someone can move around so much during the night!

  5. I am the same way with makeup. It just takes forever to apply it and sometimes I just want to go au natural!

  6. I want a manicure so bad, but like you, I'm trying not to spend on non-essentials until the end of this month. I've been doing it at home, but it is definitely not the same!

  7. I looooooooooove the "hide" or "mute" options on Facebook and Twitter hahaha!

And the book comment?? SO true. I have a lot of books that I want to finish but I always end up buying a brand new book before vacations, etc.

And the makeup thing? Granted I don't think I could ever go makeup-less to the office, I find it a GREAT BIG ACCOMPLISHMENT when I go to yoga or pure barre without a drop of makeup on my face (like this morning!! :-D)
