... made banana pancakes! Donny didn't get off work until almost 8pm Friday night, so all my ideas of dinner and a movie were dashed (because we're old people and can't stay awake through a 10pm movie). Plus, I knew he would be exhausted from a 12+ hour day. So, I went to one of my faves-- breakfast for dinner. They turned out delicious. Just wish I had gotten a better picture...
... worked on my husband's truck. Oh wait-- that was him. I sat in my pool in the backyard on Saturday morning while he replaced the u-joint on his truck. (ps-- is there anything sexier than a man who can fix his own car??)
... went on a double date with my parents to see Now You See Me. I should know better than to get really excited about a movie, as it always leads to disappointment. The movie was good and a lot of fun with a twist that I did NOT see coming. But it was a little too twisty and surreal for me. But it was fun and definitely worth going to see in the theaters with the big screen.
... got one of my favorite treats. Our Five Guys has one of those fancy Coke machines that lets you pick from 427 million flavors. My favorite is sprite with orange. Yum!
... watched A LOT of The Office. Thank goodness for Netflix since our DVDs of the office ran out with season 4. We're now almost done with Season 5!
... went through some old stuff at my parents house. They're having a neighborhood yard sale, so I had to give my okay to sell a bunch of stuff. We also started to go through our house and are getting rid of a ton. I love a good purge of stuff! One gem I found while at their place was this Steve Avery card (among a million other cards including a Roger Clemens in a Red Sox uniform and a Mike Mussina in an Orioles uniform). It was like a walk down baseball memory lane...
... got some Whataburger Spicy Ketchup in the mail from my mother in law! Donny has been anxiously counting down the days until its release since he saw the announcement. And now it's here in our house!
