This weekend was SO busy! December seems to always be that way, but especially this year with less time between Thanksgiving and Christmas, it's even more so.
We got our Christmas cards! I got an AMAZING deal from cardstore.com on Cyber Monday, as you can see...
I ordered them Monday after dinner, and they had shipped by the next day at lunch and arrived on Friday. I was SO impressed with cardstore.com. I can't reveal them on the blog since they haven't been mailed out yet. I may have forgotten to bring them to work today to mail... Oops.
This weekend was one of my favorite and craziest of the year-- the Christmas production at church! We have five performances in one weekend, plus rehearsals nightly in the week leading up to it. It's so much fun, but SO exhausting. I'm still recovering today from it all.
I loved the decorations this year!
The handbells sound like Christmas has arrived.
Somehow, I managed to read a book this weekend-- Jaycee Dugard's memoir of her abduction and captivity. It was so sad to read about what she went through.
Saturday, I spent my morning baking because while I had a performance at church that afternoon, I was skipping the evening one to go to our Bible Fellowship's Christmas party. We do a pot-luck dinner and dirty Santa gift exchange every year. I made these Christmas tree brownies and was SO excited at how they turned out!
Sunday was all church, all day. I took a break after the morning service to go to lunch with our friends, but then was right back for the Sunday performance. Donny, though, made good use of his time at home by himself this weekend and built this wine rack! This picture doesn't even begin to do it justice-- it looks amazing.
