...went to Christmastown USA again! We went last year and loved it, so we went again this year. I suppose that makes it a Christmas tradition! It's a tiny little town that is COVERED in Christmas lights. All the houses, the trees, the shops on Main Street, etc. It's definitely a great way to get in the Christmas spirit. (This post from last year has a lot of pictures, but I didn't feel the need to take/post them again.)
... had the best burger of my life. On our way home from the Christmas lights, we stopped at Duckworth's Grill and Taphouse. Neither of us had ever been there, but it had good reviews on yelp, which has never steered me wrong. And holy wow, this burger was DELICIOUS. I actually had a dream that Donny tried to steal mine last night, if that tells you how good it was... We will definitely be making the drive back to Mooresville to eat here again!

... wrapped ALL of our presents! Saturday, it was rainy and cold, so we pulled out all the gifts we had bought and wrapped them all while watching Christmas movies.
... read more books. I read my first Anita Shreve book-- I can't believe I've never read any of hers before. I loved the way she writes, and The Pilot's Wife was very hard to put down. Then I started Though Waters Roar, and read almost half of it in a day. It's so great already!
How was your weekend?
