Katie Lately.

December has been a great month so far! I can't believe that it's almost Christmas!  December has been flying by...

We put up our Christmas tree soon after we got home from Texas.  Donny did a great job picking out the tree on his own.  It fills the room, and I love it.  My mom came over to help me decorate it because she's the tree decorating guru.  I love it so much!

Donny and I went to Christmastown USA for the third year in a row.  McAdenville is a tiny little town in NC, and all the houses are decorated for Christmas.  It's so beautiful to go through!

Our church held its Christmas program earlier this month, and it was beautiful!  This was the first year in a while that I wasn't in the orchestra playing, but it was nice to be in the audience this year.

Our Bible fellowship class had our Christmas party, and we had a wonderful time!  I love these people so much!

Donny ran another race while I froze my tushy watching him.

I've read a lot of Christmas books!  I don't typically read holiday books, but I've really gotten into them this year.  (And yes, I'm counting Landline because it takes place around Christmas.)  These were all fantastic books!

My brother moved to LA with his wife.  We had a farewell dinner last week with the family.  It was sad to say goodbye, but I'm excited for him on his new adventure.

One of my favorite activities this month has been drinking hot cider and reading by the Christmas tree!

I've been watching New Girl from the beginning again on Netflix this month.  It cracks me up more each time I watch it...  I love Schmidt.

Yesterday, we had Christmas with my dad's side of the family.  His brother and their children come up once a year at Christmas, so it was great to see them again.
This is my cousin Ella.  She wanted to be by my side all day.  She's so sweet!
Now, I only have two more days of work until I'm off for Christmas!  I can't wait!!

  1. LOVE the red ribbon wrapped around the tree. I may need to do that next year! I can't believe your brother moved away right before Christmas. You will have to plan a trip to visit him!!
